May 4 2013	9:00 AM to 4:00 PM	Spring Perennial Sale Catch spring planting fever at UCI Arboretum’s annual Spring Perennial Sale on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $2.00 per person with children under 12 free. There is ample free parking directly across from the Arboretum.

Jun 15 2013	9:00 AM to 3:00 PM	June Bloom Plant Sale Banish the gloom of June with colorful flowers from the UCI Arboretum! The UCI Arboretum hosts its popular annual June Bloom plant sale on Saturday, June 15 2013 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The UCI Arboretum grows an assortment of unique but easy to grow perennials, succulents and blooming bulbs in its production nursery. Experienced gardeners from our volunteer core and our staff are happy to help you with selection, plus planting and care tips. Admission and parking are free for this event.
Jun 22 2013	10:00 AM to 11:00 AM	New Volunteer orientation The UCI arboretum will be holding a new volunteer orientation on Saturday, June 22 at 10 a.m. The orientation will include a brief tour of the Arboretum and cover all aspects of volunteering at the Arboretum including many jobs for non-gardeners. No experience is required to be a volunteer. The UCI Arboretum’s volunteer program includes a wide variety of opportunities. Volunteers work in various sections of the garden, our propagation nursery, herbarium, orchid collection, and help at our plant sales. Everyone ages 13 and up is welcome. Our program has many great opportunities for a novice to learn gardening and plant care hands-on.
